• How do I create favorite contacts for quick speed dial?
  • Yes, here are the instructions:
    • In the Teams app on the computer,
      1. hover over the contact
      2. Click the ellipses
      3. Click “Add to favorite contacts”

• • On the deskphone, you will need to go to the People icon from the home screen to see your favorites you created from the Teams app on the computer.

• Can I lock my phone for privacy concerns?
  • Yes, here are the instructions.
    • On the Home screen, Go to your icon on the top right corner of the phone
      1. > Settings
      2. > Scroll down to Device Settings
      3. > Phone Lock.
    • Enable Lock Enable.
    • Enter the lock PIN in the New PIN field using the phone dial pad.
    • Enter the lock PIN again in the Confirm PIN field.
    • You can use your lock PIN to unlock your phone.
    • Save the change by clicking the check icon on the top right corner of the phone.
  • The idle time is preset to 30 seconds but can be changed to a longer duration.
  • You can long press the # key for 3 seconds to immediately lock the phone.
  • To unlock the phone, press the lock icon on the screen and enter your code
    • After 5 unsuccessful attempts, the phone will immediately reset and you will have to setup the phone again.

• Does the phone screen turn off?
  • The backlight timer feature may be useful for this request.
    • On the Home screen, Go to your icon on the top right corner of the phone
      1. > Settings
      2. > Device Settings
      3. > Display.
    • Select the desired time from the Backlight Time field.
    • Tap OK.
  •  Also you may want to adjust the screensaver timer.
    • On the Home screen, Go to your icon on the top right corner of the phone
      1. > Settings
      2. > Scroll down to Device Settings
      3. > Display.
    • Select the desired time from the Screensaver Waiting Time field. You can set it to the same time as the backlight timer.
    • Tap OK.

• How do you transfer calls?
  • During a call, press the two phones icon on the deskphone or tap the ellipses > Transfer > Transfer now.
    • The call is placed on hold.
  • Select the desired contact or search for a contact.
    • Then the call is connected to the number which you are transferring to.
  • Tap key to end the call or when the other party picks up it will end automatically.

• How do you forward calls?
• • Forwarding Calls to Voicemail
    • On the Home screen, Go to your icon on the top right corner of the phone
      1. > Settings
      2. Calling.
    • Enable Call forwarding.
    • Tap the Forward to field and then select Voicemail.
  • Forwarding Calls to a Contact or Number
    • On the Home screen, Go to your icon on the top right corner of the phone
      1. > Settings
      2. Calling.
    • Enable Call forwarding.
    • Tap the Forward to field and then select Contact or number.

• Can I transfer my call between my computer and my deskphone?
• • Yes, wherever you have answered or placed the call, there is a bar on the other device that lets you know that you can transfer the call.
